The US National Academy of Sciences and the UK’s Royal Society have jointly released a report that uses simple language, pictures and accessible graphics to show that climate change is altering the planet and that the changes are caused by human activity.
On Thursday at 10 am, PBS NewsHour science correspondent Miles O’Brien will host a panel on this document that addresses the basic concept of climate change. You can watch the livestream here.
The document is intended to be “a key reference document for decision makers, policy makers, educators, and other individuals seeking authoritative answers about the current state of climate change science,” according to the Royal Society website.
